Allen's been in the floor covering industry since April of 1980 when he started with Dick's Carpet as an installation apprentice. Once trained, he installed floor coverings for nine years and then moved into sales. He's been helping customers with their floor covering needs ever since.
When asked what he loves most about working at Dick's Carpet One Floor & Home, he replied "I thrive on being able to work with and help our customers complete their projects. This fulfillment is why I've stayed with Dick's Carpet One Floor & Home for so long. I'm looking forward to working with and helping our customers for as long as I can."
When he's not working, Allen enjoys spending time with his family and working around their ranch. |

Frank moved to El Dorado County in 1978 from the Monterey Peninsula where he was a union installer for 8 years. In 1978, Frank started his career with Dick's Carpet by installing floor covering. After installing for 7 years, he brought the technical information he learned from installing into sales. He's been helping our customers with their floor covering needs ever since.
When asked what he likes most about working at Dick's Carpet One Floor & Home, he replied "I feel I work for the best flooring store in Northern California. I like that we're family and customer oriented. I really enjoy working with the members of our community whether they've lived here for a while, or whether they've just moved from outside the area."
Frank enjoys family, friends, working outdoors, and helping people achieve their goals on construction, landscape, and automotive projects. He's proud to be part of the El Dorado County community and all it has to offer. |

Jim's been specializing in customer service and sales in the floor covering industry since 1986. He spent his first 17 years in the Bay area and he's been at Dick's Carpet One Floor & Home since.
When asked what he enjoys most about working at Dick's Carpet One Floor & Home, he replied "The close friendships I've bonded with my co-workers and the old-fashioned values the company stands for."
Jim is a single father of 4 with 2 teenage children still at home. He enjoys golfing, biking, weight lifting, and classic movies. |

Ralph's been in the flooring industry since 1974. He started as an installer and became a licensed floor covering contractor in 1978. Over the years, he's employed and trained more than a dozen installers. Ralph's been with Dick's Carpet One Floor & Home since 1991. His personal training includes certifications by Armstrong, Wilsonart, Pergo, CFI (Certified Floor Installers), and Carpet One. He qualifies as a journeyman level installer of carpet, sheet vinyl, laminate, pre-finished hardwood, and ceramic tile. In 2015, Ralph was asked to stop installing and become our store's installation and schedule manager.
When asked what he likes most about working at Dick's Carpet One Floor & Home, he replied "The best thing about working here is the people who are here. We genuinely like each other. When I broke my leg on a job in 2008 the owners, Tim and Jared, were at the hospital while I was in surgery. They later assured me I had a job when I recovered. They care about people and take care of their customers.
Ralph's been living in El Dorado County since 1987. When not having fun installing floors, Ralph can be found getting totally frustrated playing golf at Apple Mountain. In 2013, Ralph lost his wife of 34 years to cancer. Recently, Ralph married a wonderful lady named Linda who works at El Dorado Surgical Center. |
